Our Aims

To provide a Voluntary Beach and Rescue Service for Southsea and the Solent area.

 

 

Patrols to take place at week-ends and Bank Holidays from beginnings of May until the end of September and throughout the week during the school summer holidays from 10:00 – 18:00 each day

 

 

To work as a Declared Facility with HM Coastguard and assist with search and rescue incidents as required.

 

 

To promote the teaching and training of lifesaving and lifeguarding skills under the auspices of the Royal Life Saving Society

 

 

To raise public awareness of Water Safety issues, and offer a lifesaving and resuscitation teaching programme readily accessible by members of the public
