Pre-Requisite:

· Be 16 years or over

· Be able to jump/dive into deep water

· Swim 50m in no more than 60 secs.

· Swim 200m continuously on front and back

· In deep water, tread water for 30 secs.

· Surface dive to pool floor (2m)

· Climb out of pool unaided and without the use of steps or ladders

Course Details:

The cost for the RLSS NPLQ is £125.00 which includes all course fees, examination fees, book and membership to Portsmouth and Southsea Voluntary Lifeguards. This course will commence on 10th October 2006. It will take place at Victoria Swimming Centre, on Tuesdays 19:00-22:00 and lasts approx 13 weeks.
